Dear Mr. Newton,
Being Teacher Appreciation Week, I thought this would be a good time to thank you for making my middle school years fantastic. Friends and I still talk about all sorts of funny little stories that happen with you, like times in track practice, showing us angle bangle videos (I hope kids still appreciate those videos as much as we did), and of course all the silly times in math class. Track was probably without a doubt the worst time in my whole entire life. I don't even know why people do it, it's absolutely terrible. I still remember doing down and backs across the football fields and you seemed to make it a time that I will always remember, it was a lot of fun. I have so many memories that I still look back on. Giving us tootsie rolls when we beat our personal records and always pushing us to do better was acknowledged. Thank you so much for everything that you did for us kids, it was the little things that will not be forgotten. Thank you!!
Sincerely, your favorite student,
Brooke E. Naftzger
