Dear Miss D,

I just want to thank you for all you do for us in choir. You accept us for who we are, and encourage us to be ourselves. You make choir an environment where it's safe to step out of the box. We can know we won't be judged by others.

I also want to thank you for all the time you put in for us. Every Tuesday and Thursday morning you give up your time to come direct us for show choir. When IMEA rolls around you give up every morning and afternoon to work our voices to perfection. You spend a whole period a day teaching us music, no matter how frustrating it gets.

Most importantly, I want to thank you for being you. Yes, I am stealing your words, but it's okay. You are the reason we have so much fun in choir. You keep us having fun, and let us know it's okay. There aren't that many classes in the day that we can just throw our worries out the door and let loose, but you let us. Your personality brightens everyone's day! Everyone smiles at least once during choir, and it's because of you. You are one of the best teacher I have ever had.
